Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at anytime. We don't lock you in, unlike some other products out there.
It's the number of people who show up live. If you have 60 registered users and 25 show up live during the webinar, then you have 25 live attendees. In that case you should be fine on the Lite plan.
You can choose to block extra live attendees or allow them to join at a fee per extra live attendee.
Crowdcast works with desktop or laptop computers running the latest browsers. All things equal, Google Chrome tends to work best. The Google Chrome team has done a great job building support for cutting-edge WebRTC features. On Android, Crowdcast can be used with Chrome for Android or Firefox for Android. On iOS, you can use our new app or view in your favorite Mobile browser!
There are 2 ways to connect Crowdcast to your application. The first is through direct integrations. Currently you can directly integrate Crowdcast with the following applications in the integration settings page:
Drip – A ecommerce friendly email marketing platform
ConvertKit – A creator friendly email marketing platform
Stripe – For doing paid events
Patreon – For hosting members-only (aka Patron-only) crowdcasts
In addition to the direct integrations, we’ve built a deep integration with Zapier to connect to over 1000 additional applications.
When a 15% packet loss is detected, we will automatically turn off the video stream and drop down to audio only to assist in providing the best possible experience to an end-user.
Running Crowdcast requires allowing access to its services over specific ports in order to work. A network administrator in your organization can configure these firewall settings.
Minimum Requirement: The minimum requirement is that TCP port 443 is open. Some firewall/proxy rules only allow for SSL traffic over port 443. You will need to make sure that non-web traffic can also pass over this port.
Better Experience: In addition to the minimum requirements being met, we also recommend that UDP port 3478 is open.
Best Experience: For the best possible experience, we recommend that UDP ports 1025 – 65535 be open.
Note: Crowdcast for Hangouts has been discontinued. Please contact support for more information. By default, Crowdcast for Hangouts creates public Hangouts on Air. However to create an unlisted event follow the following steps:
